What to Expect
You will be given instructions as to how to go about caring for the areas from which the fat was extracted. Because people vary as to how quickly they recover, there are some general guidelines, recommended by SmartBeautyGuide to follow in regard to facial fat injections:
1. During the first week, do not plan social activities, as the bruising and swelling will be significant, and you will not be ready to visit others, either professionally or socially.
2. Week 2 will bring some relief from swelling as bruising begins to resolve.
3. Usually between the seventh and tenth day, there is significant improvement. You still might not be ready to see others. If you have time coming to take off from work, it is suggested to take a week, as well as the weekend before and the weekend after.
